《金枝欲孽》劇情簡(jiǎn)介：清嘉慶十五年，后宮里的女人們明爭(zhēng)暗斗，皇后和如妃已經(jīng)事成水火，再加上新入宮的一群秀女，其各自背后的勢(shì)力，明里暗里，爾虞我詐。此外，御醫(yī)孫白楊、市井貧農(nóng)孔武、宮女安茜等人，也逐漸卷入這一場(chǎng)紛爭(zhēng)之中……最后逃出皇宮的人，還有沒(méi)有勇氣和希望，去繼續(xù)新的生活呢？

第十集中，小祿子為了替安茜籌錢，私自偷了如意館的藏畫，想讓孔武帶出宮去變賣。而如妃懷疑淑寧瘋癲事件幕后有黑手，使得徐公公對(duì)已經(jīng)瘋癲的淑寧痛下殺手。

安茜：為了一己私心，出賣他人，我又何嘗不是無(wú)恥。不以窮變節(jié)，不為財(cái)易志，這是你教我說(shuō)的。
英文字幕：To betray others for one's selfish needs, would I not be shameless then? 'Don't succumb due to poverty and don't change your mind for riches.' You taught me this yourself.

知識(shí)點(diǎn)1：
“不以窮變節(jié)，不為財(cái)易志”說(shuō)白了就是不因?yàn)樨毟F而改變氣節(jié)，不因?yàn)殄X財(cái)而改變志向，翻成Don't succumb due to poverty, don't change your mind for riches.

succumb to表示屈從，和give in的意思差不多，但是更正式一些：If you succumb to temptation or pressure, you do something that you want to do, or that other people want you to do, although you feel it might be wrong.

eg1.Don't succumb to the temptation to have just one cigarette.
不要經(jīng)受不住誘惑，哪怕一根煙都不要抽。

eg2.The city succumbed after only a short siege.
該城受圍困僅很短時(shí)間就不再抵抗了。

這句話讓小編想起了另一句名言：富貴不能淫，貧賤不能移，威武不能屈。這句話就可以翻譯成：No fortune shall corupt my soul, no poverty shall dampen my will, and no power shall suppress my pride. 用“No...shall...”的結(jié)構(gòu)感覺(jué)語(yǔ)氣更嚴(yán)肅、更強(qiáng)硬，表示出了堅(jiān)定的決心！有木有?。?！

安茜：很多外面的人看紫禁城紅墻巍峨，一定以為里面的人生活的很自在。但是他們豈會(huì)知道，想跳出這堵墻的人多的是。

知識(shí)點(diǎn)2：
這句中文是不是很有《圍城》的感覺(jué)呢：外面的人想進(jìn)來(lái)，里面的人想出去。這句翻譯總gaze一詞用的很好，表示出了外表凝視、內(nèi)心向往、若有所思的意境。

If you gaze at someone or something, you look steadily at them for a long time, for example because you find them attractive or interesting, or because you are thinking about something else.

eg3.She gazed at me in disbelief when I told her the news.
我告訴她這消息時(shí)，她以懷疑的目光注視著我。

"...are in abundance"用來(lái)表示“……的多的是”。

過(guò)……的生活：lead/live a...life或者lead/live a life of+名詞

eg5.My parents are retired and now live a life of ease.

硬碰硬，其實(shí)就是正面對(duì)決啦，所以翻成directly face-off with sb，face-off比f(wàn)ace更強(qiáng)烈一點(diǎn)，face只是面對(duì)，而face-off又對(duì)峙的意思，常用語(yǔ)體育比賽中，也可以作名詞。

他和經(jīng)理對(duì)抗，但是沒(méi)什么結(jié)果。
