Katy Perry is coming to a big screen near you.

Following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber, the pop superstar revealed to E! News at Saturday's Kids' Choice Awards that her upcoming 3D concert movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me, will hit theaters this summer.

"My concert documentary is coming out Fourth of July weekend. Go and see it and be a firework!" she told E! News correspondent Kelly Osbourne out on the event's orange carpet. Also set to debut Fourth of July weekend: Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's The Amazing Spiderman.

Like Bieber's 2011 documentary, Never Say Never, Katy Perry: Part of Me will detail her rise to fame as well as her major highlights from the past year.

The singer had quite a few stand-out moments during 2011. In addition to embarking on her 124-show California Dreams world tour, Perry, 27, also starred as the voice of Smurfette in Smurfs in 3D and took home several awards including the MTV VMA for Video of the Year.

In terms of not so happy times, her marriage also ended when her husband of 14 months Russell Brand filed for divorce December 30.
