Taylor Swift enjoyed a repeat on Sunday night during the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards: She won the coveted fan and music industry-voted entertainer of the year trophy for the second year in a row.

”I am so happy about this” Swift said from the stage. ”To my fellow nominees, I respect you so much and I love you and we work so hard and we try to give back.”

Swift, who thanked her fans and her family for voting, also gave a shout out to Kevin McGuire, a cancer-stricken high school senior from New Jersey who was supposed to be her date to the awards show. McGuire was admitted to the hospital the day before.

For the night’s other big winners, Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean tied for the evening’s most wins, each collecting trophies in two categories.

Aldean and duo partner Kelly Clarkson along with his producer Michael Knox picked up single of the year for ”Don’t You Wanna Stay,” and Aldean and Clarkson won vocal event of the year for the same collaboration.

Lambert won album of the year for ”Four the Record,” her third win in the category, and female vocalist of the year for the third consecutive year.

”Seriously?” Lambert asked when she walked out on stage. ”I own every record in this category, and I’ve been listening and listening to them and thinking, ’Man, I’m not going to get it.’ I will never take this trophy for granted. My albums are my babies. It’s what makes me wake up in the morning.”

It was a good night for Lambert and her husband Blake Shelton. Shelton, who co-hosted the awards show with Reba McEntire, picked up his first win the male vocalist category.

”Now this, that was a real shocked face,” said Shelton accepting the award from Taylor Swift, who is known for the surprised face she typically has upon hearing her name expectedly called at awards shows. ”I didn’t see that coming. Co-hosting this, I haven’t even thought about this at all b(euro) ` I don’t even know what the hell to say. I was sitting back there saying the words to Dierks’ song (”Home”) ’it’s been a long hard ride and there’s a ways to go.’ That’s still the way I feel, and I’m proud to take this home tonight.”
