滬江英樂：Alexandra 在她5歲的時候開始唱歌，9歲時就已經(jīng)和她媽媽一起登臺演出。12歲時，她以最小年齡參加了一個名叫"Star for a Night"的歌唱比賽，惜敗于Joss Stone——目前大紅的英國R&B女歌手。

其實早在2005年，Alexandra就已經(jīng)參加了X-Factor的選秀，可惜的是Walsh沒有給她機會參加決賽，因為他覺得Alexandra年 齡太小，并不適合。所幸Alexandra沒有就此放棄。2008年，Alexandra再一次站在了X-Facor的舞臺上，并一舉奪得冠軍！她也是繼 Leona Lewis后，第二名女性冠軍。

在比賽后，Alexandra收到Beyoncé關(guān)于英國巡演的邀請。除此之外，她還被50 Cent邀請參加他的Music Video制作。隨后，Alexandra的首單Hallelujah在UK Singles Chart上大放異彩，不僅打敗了同門師姐Leona Lewis的單曲，登上榜首，還打破了A Moment Like This的單日82,000次的記錄，短短一日就賣到105,000張。Hallelujah第一周銷量超過47萬，英國女歌手歷史最高！
