1971年7月23日，艾莉森·克勞斯 (Alison Krauss) 生于伊利諾伊州迪爾萊克。5歲開始學(xué)習(xí)小提琴及古典音樂。在14歲那年，艾莉森跟Rounder唱片公司簽約，并在兩年后發(fā)行了個人的第一張專輯唱片，緊接著她人生的第一次輝煌就來到了，年僅18歲的艾莉森獲得了流行音樂界的重要獎項－－格萊美獎。
