隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)和數(shù)字技術(shù)的發(fā)展,“音響發(fā)燒友”這個(gè)名詞似乎在慢慢淡出人們的視線。不過(guò),這個(gè)群體本身對(duì)于“發(fā)燒音響”的喜愛(ài)卻未見(jiàn)冷卻。所以,我們今天就說(shuō)說(shuō)他們吧,英語(yǔ)里被叫做audiophile的這群人。

An audiophile, from Latin audio "I hear" and Greek philos "loving," is a hobbyist who seeks high-quality audio reproduction via the use of non-mass-produced high-end audio electronics.

Audiophile,由拉丁語(yǔ)audio(意為“我聽(tīng)見(jiàn)”)和希臘語(yǔ)philos(意為“喜愛(ài)”)構(gòu)成,指通過(guò)使用非批量生產(chǎn)的高端伴音電子設(shè)備以達(dá)到高品質(zhì)音響效果的音響愛(ài)好者,(也就是常說(shuō)的“音響發(fā)燒友”)。

Some audiophiles try to listen to music at a quality level that is as close to the original performance as possible using high-fidelity components. Others try to recreate a particular sound belonging to a piece of equipment that is old or no longer current, such as the sound created by tube amplifiers.

有些發(fā)燒友試圖通過(guò)高保真設(shè)備在聽(tīng)音樂(lè)時(shí)達(dá)到盡量接近原汁原味表演的效果。還有些發(fā)燒友則想要重現(xiàn)一些老舊或者不再時(shí)興的設(shè)備獨(dú)特的聲音,比如電子管功放發(fā)出的聲響。

Audiophile values may be applied at all stages of music reproduction: the initial audio recording, the production process, and the playback, which is usually in a home setting.

“發(fā)燒”的觀念可體現(xiàn)在音樂(lè)制作的各個(gè)階段:初期的音頻錄制、制作過(guò)程,以及錄音回放等,而回放階段通常在家中進(jìn)行。

“ 發(fā)燒友”還被用來(lái)形容“狂熱愛(ài)好或迷戀某些高科技產(chǎn)品的人”。英語(yǔ)可以這樣表達(dá):如enthusiast、zealot、–fancier” 或–manic。這里有一些例子:“These car–fanciers have recently organized a club.”(這些汽車(chē)發(fā)燒友最近組織了一個(gè)俱樂(lè)部。) “Most classic music–manics are keen on Mozart.”(大多數(shù)古典音樂(lè)發(fā)燒友都喜歡莫扎特的作品。) “As an audio fancier, he has the experience of working in a recording studio.”(作為音響發(fā)燒友,他具有在錄音棚里工作的經(jīng)歷。) “I’ve been a web zealot for about seven years.”(我當(dāng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)發(fā)燒友大約有七年了。)
