Indeed, not only was the audio surveillance device not at the location he saw last time, the device did not get displaced to another location along the surface of the manager's desk either. It was removed completely. The interior designer kept his head down as he was picking up his dropped pen. In the meantime, he quickly scanned around from the corner of his eye. With his lower point of view, he was trying to see if he could spot other possible devices installed on the underside of the different surfaces.
