Stepping outside, Hodge closed the door behind him, leaving the interior designer alone in the club office. The designer casually looked around the office; everything looked pretty much the same as the last time he was here. Then again, a lot of things looked similar with a brief glance. It was with detailed examination that made subtle changes obvious. The designer picked up the cup of coffee and took a sip. As he was leaning forward to set the cup back down on the saucer, he reached a hand out towards the underside of the desk.
