很多有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的職場人士都有過這樣的困擾,他們有著非常強(qiáng)的工作能力,也有漂亮的簡歷,但卻總在面試中表現(xiàn)不佳。面試過程中,怎樣有技巧、有邏輯地回答問題才能給面試官留下深刻印象,從而大大增加成功的幾率呢?
  1. Look at the job’s specifications. Before you go into the interview, look carefully at the description of the job, particularly the words used by your potential employers to describe their ideal candidate. Then, think about how you fulfil these criteria and plan to implement these within your answers.
  首先,了解所應(yīng)聘職位的具體要求。在面試之前,應(yīng)盡可能地了解你所應(yīng)聘職位的工作內(nèi)容及工作所具備的性格特質(zhì),再認(rèn)真思考如何將這些信息與自己的答案相結(jié)合來得到面試官的認(rèn)可。
  范例:Rubby想要應(yīng)聘某公司的海外電話銷售,職位描述中要求必須有“良好的溝通能力”,她自信地表示:“In my previous position, I built good relationships with overseas market customers, maintained existing clients and developed new clients in market. This increased my sales by 20% on average. In addition, I always cooperated with other departments such as finance, shipment, and design departments to conduct all the business professionally.”
  Rubby想要應(yīng)聘某公司的電話銷售職位,其描述中要求必須有“良好的溝通能力”,她自信地表示:“在我上一份工作中,我與公司現(xiàn)有客戶保持良好的關(guān)系并不斷發(fā)掘新的客戶資源,平均銷售額也因此而提升了20%。除此之外,我也經(jīng)常財(cái)務(wù)、貨運(yùn)、設(shè)計(jì)等其他跨部門合作愉快,來確保所有的業(yè)務(wù)工作順利進(jìn)行?!?/div>
  2. Provide examples and link things clearly. Try to answer the interviewer’s questions with examples and make three or four points for each answer. Also, prepare links between the points to show that you understand what you have done in the past and how this can contribute towards future success.
  在回答面試官的問題時(shí),應(yīng)提供事例并且環(huán)環(huán)相聯(lián)。盡量給出三到四個(gè)要點(diǎn),將這些要點(diǎn)關(guān)聯(lián)起來使面試官了解你過去的工作業(yè)績,同時(shí)也展示出你的能力給以后的工作帶來的成功可能性。
  范例:Peter在應(yīng)聘Engineer Manager的面試中被問到:“Why do you think you are suitable for this job?” 他這樣回答:“With more than 10 years of experience in engineering, I can use my professional knowledge to find out project problems and easily resolve them. I have worked as a project manager of a team as well. I led the team and coordinated with different departments to make sure the project went smoothly.”

  3. Turn negatives into positives. Sometimes you will be asked about challenging situations and times you felt stressed. Try to describe these things in a positive way by focusing on the things you have learned and gained from the experience and reflecting on what could be improved for next time.
  化消極為積極。在面試中常常會被問到一些有挑戰(zhàn)的問題,嘗試用積極的方式回答問題,比如從之前經(jīng)驗(yàn)中吸取教訓(xùn)以及在未來如何得到改進(jìn)。
  范例:面對“Why do you want to leave your current job?”這一問題,Jim如是說:“Well, first, let me start by saying I enjoy my current job. Everyone is great to work with. The thing is, I’ve reached a place in my current position where the challenges are minimal. I would like to change to a new position with new challenges. What really excites me about working for your company is the chance to sharpen my skills in creative problem solving and implementing new strategies.”
  面對“你為什么想要辭去現(xiàn)在的工作?”這一問題,Jim如是說:“首先,我想要表明我很喜歡現(xiàn)在的工作,與同事也都相處愉快。但是,我覺得我現(xiàn)在的工作遇到瓶頸,希望可以找到一份更有挑戰(zhàn)性的工作,我認(rèn)為自己處理問題的能力以及執(zhí)行能力可以在貴公司的這個(gè)職位上得到更好的利用。
