話題:
Writing: imagine a scenario or express your opinion
Speechless
Speechless means the inability of composing one's thoughts, usually for a short duration due to shock or surprise. Who is speechless? What is the cause? What will be the outcome?
This week's topic: They were speechless... (90-110 words)
Suggestions:
1) speechless when the truth came out
2) speechless upon seeing the results
3) remain speechless
4) speechless when feeling too emotional
5) Instead of writing a scenario, feel free to comment on the story below.
范例1:
Yet, the intern was completely unaware that the celebrity just walked by in front of him. It was not that crossing paths with a celebrity would necessarily turn into a news story. It was just that as a reporter, one had to stay alert. How could one chase after a story when one had no awareness of happenings in the immediate surroundings? Being able to keep track of details would always come in handy. Now that Wolfe thought about it, he was speechless, so he decided not to mention the incident to the intern.
