話題:
Writing: imagine a scenario or express your opinion
Altercation
An altercation is a heated argument or dispute. What was the altercation? Who or what caused it? Where did it take place? Could a resolution be reached?
This week's topic: They ended up in an altercation... (90-110 words)
Suggestions:
1) fighting over a parking spot
2) intoxicated people at a bar
3) parents fighting over the custody of the children
4) fans of opposing sports teams
5) Instead of writing a scenario, feel free to comment on the story below.
范例1:
Wolfe felt slightly guilty for leaving behind the one who got him into the event, but perhaps staying separated would be safer for his housemate, in case, for whatever reason, he ended up getting into an altercation with the club manager. Besides, Wolfe did not want the club manager to associate him with his housemate, dragging him into the mess and into danger. With his visage shielded, Wolfe needed to get orientated with the new layout of the club. More importantly, he needed to locate the club manager and be aware of his whereabouts.
