This Monday in the new episode of Gossip Girl (2.14, “In the Realm of the Basses), we will meet for the first time Jack Bass, uncle to Chuck Bass.

Played by Desmond Harrington, I think Jack Bass will be an interesting new character for Gossip Girl. There are plenty of storylines that they could do, even though he may be in for a limited run. Plus, this guy is extremely attractive (hunk alert!)

Desmond Harrington isn’t new to TV or movies. He is currently on the cast of Showtime’s popular series Dexter as Det. Joey Quinn. Dexter has completed its second season filming, which is why he has the time to film Gossip Girl.

He was Jesse Keys in the Steven Spielberg Sci-Fi mini series Taken, and has been in several movies including Wrong Turn with Eliza Dushku, Ghost Ship, We Were Soldiers, Riding in Cars with Boys.
電影方面，他在史蒂芬·斯皮爾伯格的迷你劇《颶風(fēng)營(yíng)救》中扮演 Jesse Keys，還出演過(guò)《肢解狂魔》、《鬼船》等幾部電影。
