The most important parts are probably the clock tower and the big clock that still tolls today. The upright clock tower serving as the vertical axis of the building endows the construction with a solemn look. The clock built at the cost of more than 2000 taels of silver was made after the style of Big Ben on top of the British Parliament House and is now listed among one of the most famous clocks throughout the world.
最引人注目的是樓頂上的鐘樓和至今仍在鳴時(shí)的大鐘。豎立的鐘樓作為整棟樓房的垂直軸線，給大樓帶來(lái)了莊嚴(yán)的氛圍。造價(jià)2000多兩白銀的鐘是模仿英國(guó)會(huì)議大廈樓頂上的大本鐘制作的。現(xiàn)在，它是世界上最著名的大鐘之一。
