Renowned as sister building with the HSBC, the Shanghai Customs House at No.13 Zhongshan Road(E.1) was inaugurated in 1927 and was originally named Jianghai Customs House. Built at the cost of 43 million taels of silver, the building with eclecticism style has been pulled down and rebuilt for at least three times.
1927年建成的上海海關(guān)大樓，位于中山東一路13號(hào)，以匯豐銀行的姐妹樓聞名。原名為江海關(guān)大廈。 大樓被多次推到和重建，最后才建起了造價(jià)4300萬兩白銀的具有折衷主義建筑風(fēng)格的大廈。
