"Spartacus" bowed out and "Da Vinci's Demons" debuted on premium cable network Starz this weekend, and both shows drew solid numbers in the ratings.

That's a hefty bump from the season premiere's viewership of 930,000 (first 9 p.m. airing) and 2.5 million (weekend total). "War of the Damned" had been averaging just around 1 million viewers in its 9 p.m. premiere airings for Starz.
