據(jù)ESOL發(fā)布的BEC成績報(bào)告顯示：中國考生的通過率明顯低于其他非英語國家考生通過率。造成這一情況的主要原因是聽力部分過低的得分。而對BEC聽力試題有所了解的同學(xué)一定對聽力考試中第二部分Matching（8選5）印象深刻，堪稱是Killer Question，這無疑是整個(gè)聽力考試中難度最高的題型。下面來自滬江網(wǎng)校的Eric老師將結(jié)合BEC官方考綱并以一個(gè)實(shí)例來全面解讀8選5的解題技巧。

8選5的最大難點(diǎn): 設(shè)有3個(gè)純粹的干擾選項(xiàng)（這是三個(gè)選項(xiàng)里的一些單詞一般會在多段錄音里多次重現(xiàn)）

解題關(guān)鍵：了解干擾項(xiàng)設(shè)計(jì)原則，快速排出干擾項(xiàng)，縮小選擇范圍

BEC考綱：

譯文：不能僅憑題目選項(xiàng)中單詞在聽力原文中出現(xiàn)來判斷答案，這種原詞的重現(xiàn)往往是起到干擾作用。

分析：可排除（錯誤）選項(xiàng)的特點(diǎn)---原詞重現(xiàn)（word match）

例題：

注：近幾年本題型的選項(xiàng)一般為長詞組或句子，短的詞組都極少出現(xiàn)，整體難度有所提升。

題目介紹：

You will hear five short recordings.
譯文：你將會聽到5段錄音

For each recording, decide what the speaker’s strategy is for success in management.
譯文：根據(jù)每段錄音，判斷每個(gè)人提出的成功管理的策略是什么？

Step1 提前掃讀一遍選項(xiàng)，快速反應(yīng)出選項(xiàng)中文意義，如果選項(xiàng)是句子則快速劃出關(guān)鍵詞：

A. 成為第一個(gè)陳述觀點(diǎn)的人
B. 不要馬上回應(yīng)他人
C. 讓別人了解你的計(jì)劃
D. 準(zhǔn)備面對最壞的結(jié)果
E. 明白每個(gè)人的動機(jī)
F. 做事方式盡可能靈活
G. 做事不要表現(xiàn)得易怒
H. 為你的想法贏得廣泛的支持

Step2 帶著選項(xiàng)大意和關(guān)鍵詞聽第一段錄音

No matter what kind of business situation I'm in, it's always important to know exactly who the individual is I'm communicating with.?The?worst?mistake you can make is to fail to find out what drives them?- money, status or whatever.?Once you've worked that out, you'll be able to ensure you communicate what's in it for them?personally.?This should essentially govern the way you?respond?to people, enabling you to stay in control of the situation and achieve the desired outcome.

Step3 聽到有原詞重現(xiàn)的選項(xiàng)一律排除

D Prepare for the worst（worst）X

注：BEC聽力每段錄音都放兩邊，第一遍主要是抓錄音大意，排除明顯的干擾項(xiàng)。根據(jù)此原則一般能至少排除2~3個(gè)選項(xiàng)，加上已經(jīng)選擇的選項(xiàng)不予考慮，越往后，可排除的選項(xiàng)當(dāng)然越多。

Step4 從5個(gè)選項(xiàng)中選出正確答案，如果無法直接判斷出正確答案，先記下可能的答案選項(xiàng)，在做完后面的題目后再用排除法來判斷。

第二遍關(guān)鍵要聽出錄音的：Topic話題、Context語境、Function功能（如下考綱截圖）

此題顯然考察的是”話題”. 每段錄音對應(yīng)一個(gè)strategy ，也就是管理策略（題目說明：speaker’s strategy is for success in management.）。聽懂第一段音頻的關(guān)鍵就是把握下面的單詞和詞組的同義對應(yīng):

同義轉(zhuǎn)換：drive sb = motivate sb = motivation =?what‘s in it for sb?激勵、原動力、動機(jī)
