滬江英樂：“白色條紋” (The White Stripes) 樂隊(duì)可能是世界上最神秘的樂隊(duì)。隊(duì)中的一男一女聲稱是兄妹關(guān)系，然而事實(shí)卻并非如此，有狗仔隊(duì)的證據(jù)明明證明他們是曾經(jīng)恩愛如今已經(jīng)分飛的夫婦。他們將60年代粗野卻飽含活力的車庫搖滾重新帶回了音樂界，使奄奄一息的歐美音樂界忍不住眼光一亮。

“白色條紋”成立于1997年。最初，因?yàn)榇┑孟駜深w糖果（在中國，會不會有人說他們像兩個(gè)紅包套）和沒有貝斯手，他們獲得了一定的關(guān)注。1999年和 2000年，他們發(fā)行了兩張唱片后，獲得了和“人行道”（Pavement）樂隊(duì)一起巡演的機(jī)會。在發(fā)展過程中，樂隊(duì)開始把音樂做得充滿孩子氣，這和他們 的裝束也是一致的，同時(shí)他們又在孩子氣中加入了人見人愛的幽默感。這是樂隊(duì)最終勝出的又一大原因所在，而為國內(nèi)很多“資深”樂迷所津津樂道的“布魯斯爆炸”（Blues Explosion）盡管有著稚氣的風(fēng)情卻由于缺乏幽默感而并未在歐美主流樂壇形成氣候。

白條于2011年初在其官網(wǎng)發(fā)表正式聲明，宣布該樂隊(duì)解散。在聲明中解釋了樂隊(duì)解散的原因不是因?yàn)槎擞蟹制?，而是二人認(rèn)為他們希望將現(xiàn)在所獲得的一切保留住。二人希望這個(gè)消息不會讓他們的歌迷悲傷，而是可以讓大家都以一個(gè)積極的態(tài)度去面對這個(gè)事實(shí)。

樂隊(duì)在13年中共發(fā)行了6張專輯，樂隊(duì)的代表作《Hotel Yorba》，《Fell In Love With A Girl》以及今天為大家奉送的《Seven Nation Army》曾為樂隊(duì)贏得了5次格萊美獎(jiǎng)及1次全英獎(jiǎng)。

同時(shí)，《Seven Nation Army》也是2011年第八季英國偶像X Factor亞軍--23歲男歌手Marcus Collins的個(gè)人首支單曲，Marcus首張同名大碟3月11日在英國發(fā)行。
