Welcome back to News Hour. The national weather authority says a strong cold front is expected to hit China. The country is bracing itself for strong wind and chilly temperatures in the coming days, with the snow and rain expected in central and eastern China. Tuesday and Wednesday are likely to see heavy snow in the central of Anhui, the east of Hubei, and the south of Henan, as well as middle and northern parts of Jiangsu Province. Snowstorms are expected to be especially bad in Anhui Province. Blizzards continue in the Shigatse area of Tibetan Autonomous Region for a 6th day on Monday. Traffic has been disrupted but emergency maintenance is still underway.
