On October 6, 1962 - Edith Piaf, marries in Paris.
With wedding bells [-----1-----], Edith Piaf was once again the talk of a town called Paris. Five van loads of gendarmes are [-----2-----] to control a crowd of more than 3,000 admirers, eager to see the legendary 46-year old singer of [-----3-----]marry a 25-year old hairdresser. As her admirers well know, The Little Sparrow never [-----4-----]. Born Edith Giovanna Gassion, Piaf means sparrow in French, she was raised by her grandmother, who owned a brothel and her father who was an[-----5-----]. At 15 she was singing in the streets until a gangster clothed her in a black dress and placed her on a nightclub stage.From then on, her voice sounded the heart and soul of Paris, city of lovers - forever as young as Miss Piaf, on her wedding day.
