September 14th – Nobel Prize Winner Bertrand Russell .
Bertrand Russell's boyhood school room was the library of his grandfather, the British Prime Minister. The [-----1-----] received the Nobel Prize for Literature at the age of 72. He was later awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for [-----2-----]new interpretations of science and continued in his later life to [-----3-----] publicly the use of nuclear weapons and virtually all [-----4-----]. One such protest actually made Lord Russell a [-----5-----], for seven days at the age of 88.
“How were you treated in prison?”
“Oh, very well indeed. Very well.”
Russell was above all a logician, who viewed happiness as the first moral law.
“It will all live into a happy and not a dismal future.”
