《猩球崛起》是科幻片《人猿星球》的前傳，劇情主要講述人猿進(jìn)化為高級(jí)智慧生物、進(jìn)而攻占地球之前的種種際遇，主題是帶有警世性質(zhì)的——人類瘋狂的野心所產(chǎn)生的惡果。影片獲得了第39屆安妮獎(jiǎng)最佳真人電影角色動(dòng)畫獎(jiǎng)等獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，同時(shí)獲得了奧斯卡最佳特效獎(jiǎng)提名，但很遺憾，并沒有獲獎(jiǎng)。
