1. I don't want to go and that's that.

That's that. 也許一開(kāi)始你只是很客氣地說(shuō) I am not interested. What do you want me to do to change your mind? 這時(shí)你就可以不客氣地說(shuō):I don't want it, and that's that.

That's that. 這句話跟 That's it. That's it. That's that. 同樣的情況,你也可以這么說(shuō) The conversation is over.

2. There is nothing to talk about.

當(dāng)別人問(wèn)你的問(wèn)題你不想回答或懶得回答時(shí)就可以說(shuō):There is nothing to talk about. 例如有人問(wèn)你考試考了多少,你自己考得太差不想說(shuō),就可以說(shuō) There is nothing to talk about.

在英語(yǔ)中,There is nothing to... There is nothing to worry about. 記得看某部電影時(shí)小孩子問(wèn)他爸爸家里的錢(qián)到底夠不夠用時(shí),父親就說(shuō):There is nothing for you to worry about.

3. That's enough, anymore is just overkill.

例如和一個(gè)老美打球,打了兩局后他問(wèn)你還要不要再打,如果你不想打了,就可以說(shuō):That's enough, anymore is just overkill. That's overkill.
