A good way of testing butter is shown in the picture. Rub a little of the suspected compound upon a piece of paper and ste the paper alight.
上圖說明了一個檢驗黃油的好辦法。將這塊有待檢驗的黃油取出一點涂在一張紙片上,然后將紙片點燃。
If it is pure butter, the odour will be dainty and agreeable, while the presence of Margarine is made known by an unpleasant tallowy smell.
如果這是塊純天然的黃油,燃燒發(fā)出的氣味聞起來就輕柔宜人,如果是人造黃油,就會發(fā)出一股刺鼻而油膩的味道。
