11)A:細(xì)節(jié)題,問(wèn)第四段前半部分提出什么事實(shí)?原文為:Life is rolling along at treacly pace; there is an unnerving stillness to the landscape. C選項(xiàng)在文章中無(wú)法得到,選項(xiàng)B(little known)和D選項(xiàng)(stunning)是段落后部分的,因此答案為A選項(xiàng)。

12)C:指代題:?jiǎn)杢he lack of awareness指什么?本題為承上啟下的出法,上一段的最后一句話為…but day after day, we had spectacular beaches to ourselves, 下一段開(kāi)篇就說(shuō)the lack of awareness, 因此這里的the lack of awareness應(yīng)該和spectacular beaches有關(guān)。A選項(xiàng)無(wú)法得到,而B(niǎo)選項(xiàng)和D選項(xiàng)都是缺乏意識(shí)的原因,而不是the lack of awareness的指代,屬于答非所謂。因此C是正確答案。
