從上周開(kāi)始，全國(guó)各地的高考分?jǐn)?shù)查詢(xún)陸續(xù)開(kāi)始，各批次的錄取分?jǐn)?shù)線也隨之公布于眾。各位今年高考的考生們?cè)趺?？承載了父母那么多年來(lái)的希望和自己幾年來(lái)的努力，但愿大家收獲的是自己滿(mǎn)意的成績(jī)吧！

每年查完分?jǐn)?shù)，大家關(guān)心的重點(diǎn)便是各批次的最低錄取分?jǐn)?shù)線——the minimum requirement score。比如說(shuō)：

Some families even immigrate to Vietnam, Singapore, India or another country in order to give their children less stringent university entrance requirements, because the minimum requirement score for international students(students holding a foreign passport) is considerably lower.

查分?jǐn)?shù)的那天，勢(shì)必是“幾家歡喜幾家憂(yōu)”，有些童鞋不得不開(kāi)始考慮調(diào)劑志愿的問(wèn)題，而有些童鞋能穩(wěn)進(jìn)自己的第一志愿——first choice，等著錄取通知書(shū)的送達(dá)，也就是letter of admission。比如說(shuō)：

1.She sent the good news to her family as soon as she got her letter of admission. 她一拿到錄取通知書(shū)，就向家里飛報(bào)了這一好消息。

2.The post office has made early preparation for the delivering of this year's letters of (college) admission. 郵局對(duì)今年高考錄取通知書(shū)的寄遞工作提前做了準(zhǔn)備。

每年也總有那么些學(xué)生，對(duì)自己的分?jǐn)?shù)不甚滿(mǎn)意，想再拼搏一年，于是repeat the last year of high school life，進(jìn)行復(fù)讀。

而進(jìn)入大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生，有些會(huì)首先上學(xué)校準(zhǔn)備的預(yù)科課程，preparatory course，就是大學(xué)基礎(chǔ)預(yù)備課程。比如說(shuō)：

This is a rigorous, college preparatory course in introductory biology and it is accepted by UC (University of California). 這是一堂嚴(yán)格的大學(xué)預(yù)備課程，也是加州大學(xué)入學(xué)承認(rèn)的生物課。
