鄉(xiāng)村女歌手Wynonna Judd從小和母親Naomi相依為命。Naomi在發(fā)現(xiàn)自己女兒的音樂天賦后，就開始和女兒一起歌唱，逐漸培養(yǎng)出絕佳的和聲技巧。通常都是由Wynonna 主唱，母親負(fù)責(zé)和聲。1984年，她們以The Judds的名字出道，成了當(dāng)時鄉(xiāng)村歌壇有史以來最暢銷的二重唱組合，贏得無數(shù)鄉(xiāng)村音樂大獎。1990年，Naomi診斷出罹患C型肝炎，不適合繼續(xù)表演事業(yè)，因此母女二重唱的傳奇在1991年劃下休止符，而Wynonna 在慎重考慮之后，決定展開單飛的生涯。2000年在New Day Dawning專輯中再度邀請母親復(fù)出客串。這首Guardian Angels就是當(dāng)年母女聯(lián)手唱紅的那些歌之一。
