Landon Pigg出生于田納西州的Nashville。他的父親是錄音實的老手，其母熱愛詩歌。當Pigg還是個孩子的時候，他的父母把家搬到了伊力諾依周的芝加哥市的一個小區(qū)，并且在父親的指導下，他與自己的兩個兄弟姐妹Cari Ann和Gabirel開始合唱一些廣告歌曲。他們都曾在伊利諾伊州River Forest的Grace Lutheran學校上學。Landon在10幾歲的時候回到了Nashville并且學習代數(shù)及化學相關的課程。他參加了田納西Nashville的基督長老會學院。在他的青春期過程中，Landon的父親一直給予他非正式的音樂教育并且培養(yǎng)了他對音樂的愛好。他的母親同樣培養(yǎng)了Landon詩情的一面。
在他的一首歌曲被電視劇實習醫(yī)生格蕾所選中并且后來進行了全國播出后，Pigg在2006年夏天開始了自己的巡回宣傳。
2007年2月14日，Landon的歌曲'Great Companion'在電視劇One Tree Hill的一集(Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers)中作為背景音樂在不同的場景中播出。
在2007年，Landon的歌曲'Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop'被選作De Beers的廣告曲目。該曲目同樣被選作AT&T電話公司2009年6月的廣告曲目。
Landon Pigg將會在電影Whip It!中首次觸電，在影片中，London扮演了一個'大城市中的音樂家'，并且浪漫的與女主角展開一段戀情。該影片的女主角是來自電影Juno的Ellen Page。該電影已于今年十月上映。
