背景介紹：

Maria Taylor和Orenda Fink出生於美國(guó)喬治亞州Athens。兩人十六歲時(shí)結(jié)識(shí)於阿拉巴馬州立藝術(shù)學(xué)校，Maria主修芭蕾，Orenda主修戲劇，都對(duì)音樂保持強(qiáng)烈興趣。畢業(yè)後搬到內(nèi)布達(dá)加斯州Omaha 參加了power pop樂隊(duì)Little Red Rocket，之後組成低調(diào)民謠風(fēng)格的Azure Ray。所加入的獨(dú)立廠牌Saddle Creek，就像個(gè)大家庭，樂手都在兩個(gè)以上的 樂隊(duì)演出，彼此熟識(shí)，相互支援，例如Azure Ray常與Bright Eyes巡回演出，讓Omaha成為近年來(lái)美國(guó)中西部獨(dú)立搖滾的重要基地。
