雖然它名字里有夏威夷,但你吃的夏威夷果很可能并不來自夏威夷,事實上南非才是現(xiàn)在全球最大的夏威夷果生產(chǎn)國。

排名第二的夏威夷果產(chǎn)地也不是夏威夷,而是澳洲。

Most of the world’s macadamia nuts come from South Africa. In a 100-gram amount, macadamia nuts provide 740 Calories and are a rich source of numerous essential nutrients, including thiamine, vitamin B6, manganese, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. Macadamia nuts are 76% fat, 14% carbohydrates, including 9% dietary fiber, and 8% protein. Compared with other common edible nuts, such as almonds and cashews, macadamias are high in total fat and relatively low in protein . They have a high amount of monounsaturated fats and contain, as 17% of total fat, the monounsaturated fat, omega-7 palmitoleic acid.
世界上大部分夏威夷果來自南非。100克夏威夷果含740卡路里的熱量,而且夏威夷果富含多種必需營養(yǎng)素,其中包括維生素B1、維生素B6、錳、鐵、鎂和磷。夏威夷果含有76%的脂肪,14%的碳水化合物(其中包括9%的膳食纖維)和8%的蛋白質(zhì)。與其他常見的可食用堅果(如杏仁和腰果)相比,夏威夷果脂肪含量高,蛋白質(zhì)含量相對較低。它們都含有大量的單不飽和脂肪,占總脂肪含量的17%,也就是omega-7棕櫚烯酸。

順便提一句,夏威夷果對狗狗有毒,所以不要喂你的狗狗吃夏威夷果。
