No response when you answer the phone.
A: Hello? Hello?
B: (No response; Silence)
A: Hello? Who is calling, please?
B: (No response)
A: Listen, I know who you are. If you call this number again, I’ll call the police. You’ll be arrested. I’ve got your number.

當(dāng)你接電話的時(shí)候，沒(méi)有人應(yīng)答。
A: 喂？喂？
B: （沒(méi)人回答；沉默）
A: 喂？請(qǐng)問(wèn)你是哪位？
B: （沒(méi)有回答）
A: 聽(tīng)著，我知道你是誰(shuí)。如果你再撥這個(gè)號(hào)碼，我要叫警察了。你會(huì)被逮捕的。我已經(jīng)知道你的電話號(hào)碼了。

Caller does not continue a phone conversation.
A: Hello?
B: Hi. May I speak to Eric?
A: Eric? Eric who?
B: Eric Robert.
A: Who’s calling, please?
B: A friend of the family.
A: Just a minute. I’ll put you through.
C: (Eric receives the call.) Hello? Hello? Speak up, please. I can’t hear you. Is anybody there? There’s nobody there.

A: 喂？
B: 嗨，我可以和埃里克講話嗎？
A: 埃里克？哪個(gè)埃里克？
B: 埃里克 羅伯特。
A: 請(qǐng)問(wèn)你是哪位？
B: 他們家的一位朋友。
