一、審題謀篇
就體裁來(lái)說(shuō),本次四級(jí)作文為議論文,話題是關(guān)于學(xué)生自由選擇某些課程的任課教師,屬于校園類(lèi)話題。
根據(jù)提示信息可以判斷本文為提綱式作文,據(jù)此可以把文章分為三段。首段介紹文章的主題“Some universities give students freedom to choose their own lecturers for some courses”。第二段進(jìn)行事實(shí)說(shuō)明,分析學(xué)生選擇老師可能考慮的因素:教學(xué)風(fēng)格(teaching style)、學(xué)術(shù)水平(academics)、個(gè)性(personality)、作業(yè)要求(assignments)等。由于篇幅有限,考生不能一一列舉。應(yīng)從中選取比較有代表性的、易于表達(dá)的,使用firstly,secondly…等詞進(jìn)行邏輯組織。第三段是結(jié)論段,從事情的兩面性指出其positive and negative effects。
寫(xiě)作時(shí),要選擇適當(dāng)?shù)慕嵌?,最好使用第三人稱(chēng)進(jìn)行論述,這樣會(huì)讓文章讀起來(lái)更加客觀,觀點(diǎn)更容易被接受。
二、參考范文
??? An increasing number of universities are undertaking some changes by giving their students freedom to choose their own lecturers for some courses. This practice, ever since it comes out, has been very popular with students.
??? There are several factors influencing students’ choice of the lecturers. Firstly, an ideal lecturer should have an interesting and humorous teaching style, so that students can learn their subjects in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Secondly, a diverse academic background is also preferred since a knowledgeable teacher can greatly enlarge students’ scope of knowledge. Last but not least, a teacher with an agreeable personality is also desirable to students.
??? This practice undoubtedly has lots of positive effects on the present college education, as it can encourage students to take an active part in study and urges teachers to improve their teaching quality. However, it can inevitably bring some negative effects. For instance, some teachers may try to cater to the students’ interest to increase the popularity of their lessons, while ignoring the teaching plan, which may lead to the opposite direction of high education quality.
??? 越來(lái)越多的大學(xué)允許學(xué)生自由選擇某些課程的任課教師。這一舉措,自施行之日起,就深受同學(xué)們的歡迎。
??? 有幾個(gè)因素會(huì)影響到學(xué)生對(duì)老師的選擇。首先,理想的教師應(yīng)該具有風(fēng)趣幽默的教學(xué)風(fēng)格,為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一種輕松舒適的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。其次,教師知識(shí)多樣化也會(huì)得到學(xué)生的喜愛(ài),因?yàn)橐粋€(gè)學(xué)識(shí)淵博的教師會(huì)極大地影響學(xué)生的知識(shí)范圍。最后但同樣重要的是教師平易近人的個(gè)性,這在學(xué)生選擇教師時(shí)也是頗具吸引力的。
??? 該舉措的實(shí)施無(wú)疑對(duì)當(dāng)前的大學(xué)教育產(chǎn)生了很多積極的影響。一方面,它鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)采取更加積極的態(tài)度;另一方面,也會(huì)促使教師更好地改進(jìn)自己的教學(xué)。然而,它不可避免地也會(huì)有諸多負(fù)面影響。例如,教師有可能只顧迎合學(xué)生的要求而忽視教學(xué)計(jì)劃,從而背離高質(zhì)量大學(xué)教育的目標(biāo)。
三、范文點(diǎn)評(píng)
對(duì)題材的成功挖掘是寫(xiě)出好文章的前提。文章第二段具體選擇了三種比較全面并具有代表性的原因。這樣一來(lái),段落層次分明又符合邏輯,是很成功的構(gòu)思。文章最后一段正反兩方面的論述也頗有深度。語(yǔ)言表述簡(jiǎn)練,沒(méi)有語(yǔ)言錯(cuò)誤。形容詞、動(dòng)詞的選擇多樣化,富有變化。

【多變的句式】
本文行文過(guò)程中嘗試著變換不同的句式,讓文章讀起來(lái)不那么枯燥。多種時(shí)態(tài)交叉使用,使作者思想清晰明了。如:“Firstly, an ideal lecturer should have an interesting and humorous teaching style, so that students can learn their subjects in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Secondly, a diverse academic background is also preferred since a knowledgeable teacher can greatly enlarge students’ scope of knowledge.”邏輯性強(qiáng),語(yǔ)言功底深,為文章增添了亮點(diǎn)。
借助邏輯關(guān)聯(lián)詞,如since,as,however等,以及順序關(guān)聯(lián)詞,如firstly,secondly,last but not least等,可使論述連貫,思路清晰易懂。文中最后一句是非限定性定語(yǔ)從句 “which may lead to the opposite direction of high education quality”,它的使用突出了作者鮮明的態(tài)度,且言簡(jiǎn)意賅,緊扣提綱。
