每次聽(tīng)力考試之后，都有學(xué)生和本喵抱怨“the speed is so fast that I cannot catch up”。每當(dāng)這時(shí)，本喵總會(huì)安慰他們，至少你們的結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句學(xué)的還是不錯(cuò)滴嘛~

結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句表示主句動(dòng)作的結(jié)果，通常由so…that…或such…that…引導(dǎo)，例如：

a) I am so angry that I cannot speak a word. 我氣的說(shuō)不出話來(lái)。

b) I am such an angry man that I cannot speak a word. 我氣的說(shuō)不出話來(lái)。

細(xì)心的同學(xué)一定發(fā)現(xiàn)，so…that…和such…that…之間的微妙區(qū)別了吧？So后面加形容詞或副詞，而such后面要加名詞或名詞詞組。例如：

a) He is so young that he can't go to school.他還太小不能上學(xué)。

b) He is such a young boy that he can't go to school.他還太小不能上學(xué)。

除此之外，so that也可以引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句，例如：

a) I got up late this morning so that I missed the bus. 我早上起晚了，沒(méi)看上公交。

有時(shí)候，so that可以省略其中的so或that。例如：

a) I got up late this morning so I missed the bus.

b) I got up late this morning that I missed the bus.
