--on
詞組on the basis of 中須用介詞on而不是in。
(attending)--in/of
不要將objective和objective相混淆,object后需加介詞to,但這里應(yīng)用in或者of表示“上大學(xué)的目標(biāo)是……”。
ally--critical
4.^attributed--been
attribute作動詞時是及物動詞,通常的搭配是 to attribute sth to sth,因此這里應(yīng)使用被動語態(tài),加上been。
y--economics
--while/but
ting--comprising/constituting或者 consisting^--of
ed--declaring
“almost 12 percent of undergraduates declared themselves history majors”和“economic andbusiness administration majors together consisting 8.7 percent of undergraduates"應(yīng)是并列結(jié)構(gòu)跟隨介詞with,所以這里應(yīng)將declared變?yōu)閐eclaring,與前面的分句保持形式上的一致。
ed--marketable
(high salaries)--/
