arm-twisting: 也可以說twist the arm, 給某人施加壓力，迫使某人做某事。想象一下把你的手臂被別人擰到身后去，那種感覺是很難受的，這個短語要表達的就是這種被迫的感覺。
gave him the green light: 直譯當(dāng)然是開綠燈啦，也就是同意的意思
